GRASPOP METAL MEETING 2014 takes place in festival park 'Stenehei' in Dessel over the weekend of Friday 27th to Sunday 29th June. With a lineup that spans several generations of heavy music, Graspop Metal Meeting is the devil's favourite playground. The main stage -- or main stages 1 & 2, we should say -- will accommodate the big guns and the household names in our lineup. The Marquee and the Metal Dome provide a more intimate indoor setting while the new Jupiler Stage in the Metal Plaza will host up-and-coming talent. Three days of screaming guitars and wrist-fracturing drumbeats: who said that heaven on earth doesn't exist? All heavy metal, the whole mother****ing time: that's probably the best way to describe the premier metal festival of the Low Countries. For three days, thousands of metal fans commune in an atmosphere of friendship, understanding, tolerance and an unwavering love of heavy music. Of course, the cold beer, tons of side animation, signing sessions, the outdoor festival fair, the indoor metal market, the fun fair and the classic rock cafe also contribute to the unique Graspop ambiance.
