Not all ambition is bad.

Every good thing that we have in our lives we most likely have because an individual (or group of individuals) wanted to do something great. Jesus warns us of the dangers of wanting to be first. James warns us about selfish ambition. But is every desire to be great or to do great things wrong?

Finally, we also ask you to continue supporting your local parishes. Thank you, and God bless you!

This is the Spirit of our country. It takes great intelligence you are 100 per cent right ambition selfishness is self centered whereas as when you are ambitious and create services that can be shared with others that's what is great. Father Mike have a Blessed week ahead.

We are called for ambition, but free from self protection, free from self preoccupation, and free from selfish ambition; because only then we can be free to be great.

It would be wonderful if BiAY were translated into Slovene! And if you came to have a couple talks here if you were ever in Europe, that would be even more amazing!
Thank you Father, for being open to the Lords movements in your heart to do great things. I pray for you. 😊

Sometimes I feel like you are speaking to me Father Mike, your homilies hit home every time. I had to go to mass overseas and listen to a language I don't even speak . I followed along with structure to receive the Eucharist, a mass with so much energy and singing like I have never experienced before, . Even though I didn't speak the language, the energy was enough, and your Homily connected that experience today. Thank You.

I have been following your full mass for a couple of weeks because I can't attend church for health reasons. I always get so much out of your homilies. I also do appreciate that there is a prayer for those of us to say that can't receive Holy Communion. I continue with my Bible in a Year. You are truly a blessing!
