Cells of the Nervous System (Neurons and Glia)

Dr. Mike explains what neurons and glia do within the Nervous System.
He highlights the basic structure of a neuron and classifies glia according to their location within either the CNS or PNS.
e.g. oligodendricytes, ependymal cells, astrocytes, microglia, schwann cells, and satellite cells.

Hi Mike! I would like to thank you for taking time to share with such great pedagogy. Your work is being of great help for those like myself studying with Atlases, books and online classes. I am an SLP/CDIS (speech and language pathology) studdent. Morphology and phonology classes come easy to me, but dear God are these medical classes like neurology kicking my butt. You however are restoring my confidence I can pass these classes with a B!
