Ingredients:
9tbsp Nutella
115g softened unsalted butter
160g light brown sugar
40g granulated sugar
1 large egg
2tsp vanilla
315g plain flour
1tsp baking powder
1tsp bicarbonate of soda
1tsp salt
150g chocolate chips (+ extra for topping)

1) Line a large baking tray with parchment paper.

2) Add 9 separate tablespoons of Nutella to the tray and put them in the freezer for 30 minutes.

3) Add the butter and both sugars to a large bowl and whisk until light and fluffy.

4) Add the egg and vanilla and whisk until just combined.

5) Add the plain flour, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda and salt and mix to form a dough.

6) Fold the chocolate chips through the dough.

7) Scoop 90g of the dough and roll it into a ball.

8) Take a third off the ball and press it into a small disk.

9) Place a blob of frozen Nutella on top.

10) Make a cup with the rest of the ball and place it on top, sealing the edges.

11) Repeat with the rest of the dough.

12) Press more chocolate chips on top.

13) Refrigerate for 30 minutes minimum or overnight if possible.

14) Bake at 190°C/ Gas Mark 5/ 170°C (fan) for 9-11 minutes.

15) Enjoy!

6 tbsp granulated sugar
1 large egg
2 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
3/4 cup choco chips (or as many as u wish)
