Which Floor Absorbent Works Best? Oil Dry VS Super Clean. Old School VS New School. Let's Find Out!

Today we put the old school oil dry up against the new school Super Clean floor absorbent to see which one actually performs better head to head. There is a huge difference in weight between the two products and the texture. Super Clean claims it can soak up 4 times as much so today we will test that out and see. Let's put them against each other to find out!

The old stuff works good. I think that if you have a spill, you won’t think about 3 to 1. Your just going to dump it over the spill so you will use the it all, with just a few spills. Just my thought.

I use kitty litter not on water but oil it works fine can't beat the price

I just use old saw dust from my table saw. And then after used can be burned in wood stove in garage with logs for warmth

Great video. Only used oil dry a couple of times. I had always used cat litter as well. But I have the super clean and it works very well. Great comparison

I'm a Pig Mat user myself. I buy the larger sizes boxes from JB Tools (I hate the rolls). I do use the SuperClean degreaser/floor cleaner and love it!

Industrial Saw Dust works best for me, and you can also reuse it multiple times before it’s spent.

The SuperClean would be pretty good for a home DIY workshop. Handy storage and smaller potential spills.

Us Northerners call it "floor dry". Its all I use and I use a ton of it. I get mine from fastenal in bulk and it makes it super cheap. ($3.50 a bag)

I used to haul Hazardous Waste and still haul commercial hazmat for manufacturing. We have used this material for years and have always bought it in bulk (50 lb bags). This stuff really works and is much lighter than the clay crap.
