What a final. It was also one of the strangest days of my life. I was 10 at the time and was watching the end in a Rumbelows shop. As Jackson went through to equalise, I suffered a seizure and my life was only saved by a passing nurse. Thank you to that nurse!

I was at this, in with the Motherwell fans with my then Brother in Law. What a great game it was. Some excellent players in both teams, a couple now sadly no longer with us.

I worked as a community coach at Motherwell in 2010; Stevie Kirk was my boss and he talked about this game every single day! 😆

What a final. I am a Dons fan. I wanted Utd to win because l felt sorry for them in the 80s. 2 defeats to Celtic in the final and so close to winning the UEFA CUP.

United absolutely robbed. Nothing wrong with the French goal and a clear foul on Main for the Motherwell winner. Shocking refereeing. No wonder Jim McInally threw his boots at Syme.
