I'd love to see Rice and Mainoo in midfield with Bellingham at 10 but that means putting Foden on the left which is a sin and stinks of the whole Scholes debacle. As a United fan, it pains me to sacrifice Mainoo but it must be Rice and Bellingham with Foden ahead. Probably Cole Palmer in the left. What a front 6 that is btw.

I hope Southgate is watching. Foden needs to start centrally. Such a threat at the edge of the box. Bellingham from deep sounds great. Big strong presence alongside Rice. Tough to push off the ball and a strong runner with the ball at feet. The only swap I’d make to Young’s outfit is Saka switched onto the left and palmer onto the right.
