A bit of the process, hopefully it will answer some questions from the comment section of the film. It's my first time compositing using After Effects (some errors can be noticed) and I'm still learning Toon Boom so by no means is my process error-free. It's also my first time doing a process video; I welcome your criticism!

Software used:
- Clip Studio Paint for backgrounds
- Toon Boom Harmony for animation
- After Effects and Premiere for compositing

The next film will be more long-term, over the course of maybe 1.5 to 2 years. Production begins now! See you in a while!

Great job!
I'm an aspiring artist/animator and I can say that this video helped me a lot to study. Ever since I saw The Spring Herald, I've subscribed and have been enjoying your content.
All I can say is, keep up the good work, and I believe in you. So never give up.

I come back to this video often. For some reason it's a constant reminder of how much I love animation. This making of process was one of the things that made me want to become an artist myself, and it still reminds me of it, two years later.

It was probably one of the most amazing animations I’ve ever seen. So smooth and the colors compliment each other so well. And don’t even get me started on the art style. Everything about all of it was perfect

this is so amazing! I miss seeing 2D animation in the mainstream and this truly cheered me up. it's lovely to see someone still passionate about the art form and this video is very inspirational. :)

my summer project is to learn how to animate (the traditional 2D way) and get my skills to a level like this; who knows, maybe even come out with a short like this one.

The detailing to the hair on how it float like that is amazing, reminds me a lot of ghibli's and I love it to bits ❤️❤️❤️
Also the dedication it the amount of frames you made is astounding. You're definitely going places.

Okay, but that camera dive part, I loved that so much.

Hearing the flautists makes my inner baby flautist cry. The only things I've played in the past two days are Hot Cross Buns, Mary Had a Little Lamb, and some music note scratch I wrote.

First time? YOU KIDDING ME? This isn't fair! I do a lot of digital painting via Photoshop, but can't fathom where to begin if I wanted to animate. Your final piece, and your making of, is really inspiring to me. Thank you!
