A thing about the scanner room, stalkers have like a 'den' where they put there scrap if you put cameras near a stalker, the stalker will bring the camera to its den, then if you check the beacons on the mini map to find the cameras you can locate and collect all the scrap metal the stalker was hoarding!

I have multiple bases around subnautica each one has a purpose

Red grass bass is the first base I made purpose as the main hub

Observer base purpose to observe life forms equipped with the egg collector prawn suit and a scanner room the find creature eggs put them in the alien containment unit and study them.

Destroyed lab base. The precursor diseases research facility has a base their as when I am exploring the area I have a place to hang back as my cyclops got stuck and I had to take out my seamoth to explore the area

The reaper base
Equipped with the reaper killer(a seamoth made to kill a reaper)
This base is near the arura with the purpose of studying reaper leviathans the front of the arura is a place where these leviathan class creature normally hang out
Total number of reaper kill this base has made-2 (dame reapers and their phase glitch)

Lava zone base- this base has not yet been constructed on the accounts but I haven’t made it to the lava zone yet but the plans are simple have a base powered by heat with the purpose of have somewhere to stay while in the lava zone

Void base- not yet constructed but plan is simple use to study ghost leviathans in the void

Rocket base- this base (located near the gun) is used to store all the materials need for the rocket. Main purpose a place to stay while gathering stuff to make the rocket. The rocket will be called constructed near the gun because. That’s is just because I can.

I just got the game and it's great! I love the fact that there's no pressure and you can do it at your own pace. Also the total adventure of it is outstanding. It actually makes you use your brain.😁 Very enjoyable overall!👍

Correction for the video: the bottom of compartment/glass compartment is also an access point that allows you to build a hatch (thats even reality-friendly!)

Thank you!!! I had so much problem knowing how to use other energy than solar (couldn't make them connect to the base lol). It's not the prettiest base but you explain every single bit of it. To me, it is the ultimate base guide

I love this game just from watching the videos you had on it & would love to see a full video on all the furniture & decorations you can have & maybe all the types of creatures & ruins you come across. Not delving too much into the lore, just enough to get what the premise is, as you are an expert in doing. I live for building in games, which is why I like so many of the games you feature. I have definitely begun the habit of liking & sharing all all media every one of your videos. I really want to see the channel get the recognition & support I feel it deserves. Oops! I’ll be honest, I’m kinda upset that you put spoilers in a building tutorial. We didn’t need that beginning montage with the alien. I’ve been actively avoiding spoilers while trying to learn how to build a base. It really sucks for us new players when older players stick them in without at least a warning.

imo the bio reactor is the best in the game a single grow bed if blood kelp can indefinitely sustain 4 reactors and if you need more than 4 (you really shouldnt) just build another grow bed for more kelp
