ICN2 mission to Japan

The ICN2 travelled to Japan to participate in the 1&2D Materials Conference, a Workshop involving Albania/Japan/Spain, a visit to RIKEN and the NanoTech2020 International Nanotechnology Exhibition and Conference. It was an intense week full of excellent science, industry contacts and a booth full of demos to interact with the ICN2 devices from the nanoscale.

The mission was a shared effort involving CERCA and CSIC and a number of ICN2 representatives, such as Prof. Pablo Ordejón, ICREA Prof. Stephan Roche, ICREA Prof. Arben Merkoçi, Prof. Pedro Gómez, Dr Cesar Moreno and Dr Ruslan Álvarez, together with staff from the Business and Innovation Office (Dr Cinzia Spinato) and the Marketing and Communication Department (Dr Virginia Greco).

Tokyo is a wonderful city. We had a great time and will keep on working to turn all the contacts we made into new research and commercial collaborations.
