Just like Lott, Jones is a vital component of the Chiefs dynasty that cannot be overlooked despite a flashier and more popular offense.

If not for Aaron Donald, for whom arguments can be made that he is the best player ever at _any_ defensive position, Chris Jones would easily be the best defensive tackle of this era. It may not show up on the stat sheet all the time, but he is always getting into the pocket and disrupting plays, and often inducing cleanup sacks, fumbles, and the like for his fellow defensive players. Now he has become the anchor, mentor, and heart and soul of a ferocious defensive unit that helped drive the Chiefs towards the third title that prompts many to rightfully call them a dynasty. He's a first-ballot Hall of Famer and will get his #95 retired by the Chiefs within the next 20 years.
