I'm very impressed with the honesty and transparency of the devs. Most game devs would avoid talking about the lack of splitscreen support entirely and let it become apparent when the game releases so that they can capitalize on pre-order sales.


The DBZ devs not only admitted that split screen won't be a major feature, they explained exactly WHY they chose not to do so and they actually put in the effort to make split screen work to a degree even though it wasn't convenient considering the reasons given.
