On Q18 the text says that the height of the cone is 16 cm. It is intended to be 14 cm as in the diagram.

I wish these similar questions come up in the exam.

I got 76/80. This paper was quite nice and easy, I actually hope paper 2 will be easier than paper 1. Thanks for the video.

I got 78/80 for this paper however I’m not going to get my hopes us as I feel like the actual exam will be more difficult but this was great practice 😃

I got 1 mark off a 7 in this one, but I mostly lost marks cause of silly mistakes. thank you for this, this is pointing me in the right direction

There were a few questions in which I used different methods.

14) I knew the gradient had to be the same as both lines were parallel. I did rise / run to find p - and got (2-0 / 10-p) = 1/2x - so figured p = 6 as 10-6 = 4 and 2/4 = 1/2.

17) I drew a tangent perpendicular to OB. I did 90-27 to get 63 and then used the alternate segments Theorem to get BAC = 63

50/80 on this one. Silly mistake on q6, tried to translate A instead of T

For q17 I got 63 by doing 90-27 then I used alternate segment theorem to get BAC is it full marks and would it apply for similiar questions?

for question 17, i got the answer correct but i assumed that the line from B to O continued to make two right angled triangles, and then assumed that if that was split in half then the missing B angle was also 27, so A would be 63. would i still get the marks if i did this or would it be counted as a lucky guess?

Great video. Just wondering, do you make these questions? Or are they from past papers? Thanks!

For question 19) I got the sine rule right but it turned out that I got 9.91932… whereas you got 6.0626… where did I go wrong?

For Q/21, I'm confused on why you're doing m(m+2.5)? It says the "product of Darren and Kerry's bars" so wouldn't you have to just add Daren and Kerry's bars together to get Thomas' bars? Please reply.

for question 19, why cant we use the sine rule for the triangle ABC (the bigger triangle)? i worked out all the angles required too, for example BAC= 62 and CBA= 38. it gave me a different answer to the one in the video so i know its wrong, but i want to know why the sine rule cannot be used for the bigger triangle like you used for the smaller triangle. thank you.
