I lived on my sailboat almost 10yrs on Oahu. If I could, I'd do it again in a heartbeat !!! It was an amazing chapter in my life!!!

Living at sea is something else . I work 9 months a year away at sea and I feel sick when I know it’s time to come home . Enjoy and be safe ✌🏻🇬🇧🙏🏻

Heeling on a big sail boat is not as bad as a j24 in 30 knots of wind. Thank god for the keel.

I remember cooking while underway, especially in rough weathers... being strapped in to that stove bar, watching the pot with boiling water or frying pan with hot oil, trying to trust this gimbal will do its job. Always kinda scary.

I would not wish a mess on that beautiful vessel, BUT I'd love to see how you cook on a day like that or even calmer waters would be interesting.

Looks like just another normal day for us on “Lucky Spin”.

Parts of this video appear to be taken on the boat they have chartered in Greece. Other parts are definitely on a Jeanneau 50 DS. I know because I own one LMAO. I would bet you that between the chartered boat, which has the equivalent of a modern “open concept kitchen, “ and the 50 DS, the 50 DS is a hell of a lot easier to cook on. Why? Because it’s built like a boat and not like an apartment. And I’ll bet you it’s a whole lot more comfortable ride in a rough sea. That is one of the reasons why it’s almost impossible in the current insane post Covid boat market shortage to find a well equipped, well maintained 45 or 50 DS to even purchase. It’s because they are phenomenally stable, well-made and easy to use and sail vessels.

Recently watched a tour of a VO 65 racing yacht, with everything done to make it lighter and faster, with no creature comforts.
I was astounded 😳 at the Carbon Fibre Gimballed Toilet.
I'm pretty sure I could not perform the task required with the room spinning around me. 😃
