Not only Polish music has been shunted into the background to remain forgotten. It is a pleasure to be able to listen to something from such a nice country as Estonia. Artur Lemba is the name to remember!

Heard this a few times now. A fine symphony that maintains its interest to the end in an excellent performance and recording.

This symphony is extremely memorable, I listened to it for the first time a few months ago and put it aside until hearing it again yesterday, most of the themes are recalled almost immediately after the first note being played. magical tbh.

Beautiful piece!  Now added to my favorites, a growing list you have helped to populate!  So many unheralded composers who deserve to be heard that you have brought into at least a portion of the public eye.  Thank you.

Thanks for this symphony. A very attractive work with some quirky instrumentation which makes it most enjoyable. I liked the first movement especially.

FANTASTIC! - even in my favorite Key. I hope to heard this live one day ... if the orchestra's stars to play more than Mozart and Bach that is.

Quite why this enchanting work isn't in the repertoire of every major symphony orchestra I find very hard to understand.

My suspicion proved correct.  I just got word from Kristina Kiis, the music curator at the museum in Talinn that houses the MS score of this symphony that the finale is Moderato assai - Allegro risoluto.

I also find particularly impressive the nobleness of many tunes...
