Wewoka Woods Master Plan

The Wewoka Woods Master Plan Project represents a key strategic plan to grow the camp’s impact for our conference. However, there is a need for greater effectiveness in mission and ministry.

Wewoka Woods already greatly impacts many people’s lives in the Oklahoma Conference. Each year our English, Spanish, and Zomi camp meetings foster revival, provide inspiration, and change the lives of people of all ages. Our summer camps do the same for children and youth. We witness baptisms at both camp meetings and summer camps.

Almost every weekend, events take place at Wewoka that inspire, train, serve, and equip people for more effective lives and ministry. Men’s groups, women’s groups, native ministries, recovery groups, leadership training, pathfinder events, prayer conferences, pastor’s meetings, and church retreats all utilize the camp.

The beautiful scenery provides much-needed calm away from the fast-paced lives that many people live. People are provided the environment to find spiritual and physical rejuvenation and reorient to what’s most important in life. The ministry that happens at Wewoka affects every aspect of our mission.

The Wewoka Woods Master Plan Project will provide a much-needed upgrade of the current facility and will also add desperately needed buildings that will allow more people to take advantage of the life-changing programs there. Now is the time to enhance and strengthen the camp to enable it to fulfill the purpose it was designed to transform lives and make disciples for Christ.
