Harry (Dane Dehaan from Kill Your Darlings) proposes a deal with Dillon (Jamie Foxx from Django Unchained and Ray), who now calls himself "Electro", to get him inside the Oscorp building. Dillon agrees to help Harry and kills Dr. Kafka.

As much as I hated DeHaan's take on Goblin, he's a really good actor. Just need to give him the right script. His acting in this scene is extremely believable and powerful.

Dane DeHaan made me realize what "creepy" looks like.
When he played a _protagonist_ in "Valerian".
That's an achievement.

I DGAF, I like this movie! First off, Dane DeHaan is legitimately beautiful, almost elven-like, if that makes sense. There's a sinister tinge to his beauty as well, along with his vulnerability, both which are perfect for playing this kind of role. Despite the studio's dumb choices, not a single person can say that Dane, Andrew, Emma, Sally, or some others didn't put their all into their acting! That's why I can't hate the movie. This was a really good exchange, great acting, tension, drama, music, etc.

Honestly… This isn’t even that bad. At the very least, the character motivations come together in a way that is both sensible and symmetrical. Max wanted to be Spider-Man’s friend, but was rejected. Harry needed _Peter’s_ friendship, and got rejected. Both happened for somewhat valid reasons, but they’re both unstable enough that it sent them on the same path: let’s go get Spider-Man. I kinda dig it.

Possibly unpopular opinion: Dane was good casting as Harry.
And when he didn't get horrific dialogue, he was really good.
1:23-1:45 Really like his desperation mounting with Max until he just completely loses it after it looks like he's going to fail to get the help he needs to survive.
