A short video about this well measuring analog to digital device. This might be the best way to record your vinyl.

I have upgraded my phono preamp recently with a black ice audio f159. It does not have a balanced output would i be able to use a XLR to RCA cable adapter and what would be the best voltage setting for my rig? Thinking about buying one of these.

This converter is way beyond my pay grade. My transfer of LP's to Music CD-R's is done with a Dual 601 with Shure V15 Type 3 cartridge. The stand alone recorder is a Pioneer single slot. I ditched cassettes back in late 2001. I'm very happy with the 80 minute CD-R compact disc format.

I was wondering how this thing did with digitizing vinyl. I have been using a Parasound Zphono USB for that purpose for a while, but it doesn’t record in high resolution. Have you experienced any issues with it yet?

How do you select what sample rate the device outputs? Is there software or something? Thanks!

Interesting device! Last year I bought a 'Made in Japan' Korg DS-DAC-10R DA/AD-converter + recorder to be able to digitalise analog music to high res digital. Not balanced input but more versatile and NO dip switches ;-) Strangely the Korg its price did go up the last years. I bought it 2nd handed for just under €200.
