It makes sense now. Jimmy always wanted to be the right hand man. He knows he can't be tribal chief, but he definitely wanted Jey's opportunities. He initially betrayed Roman to let Jey focus on Roman then blindside Jey later on.

This path is similar to the origins of Main Event Jey Uso; when he started beating the likes of AJ, Daniel Bryan and KO on his own. They'll probably trying to push Jimmy the same way in singles.

Jimmy feels lost without his brother next to him, he doesn’t know what to do and feels alone. This loneliness brought him to re-join bloodline, his sadness to accept being used again and his anger to not have his brother anymore.
From what I can see, I see a desperate attempt to “replace” his brother with Solo, in the match he says “WE THE ONES RIGHT?” To solo, but it won’t work out, he will realize it isn’t just the same thing.
This breaks my Heart, seeing a man who is desperately searching someone who understands and loves him, and for his place.
This is more deep than I expected.
