I had to come off some very toxic medical drugs that gave me two heart attacks. I stopped taking all drugs including herbals. I had been taking CBD oil for pain but I had to stop that as well. I just could not sleep. I got around four hours sleep from eight hours in bed. I took rhodiola and to my amazement I slept for six and a half hours. I now feel tired like I'm exhausted rather than so overtired I could not sleep. A big improvement.

I have no diagnosis of mental health disease, but I've been feeling very anxious since COVID lockdown finished and even more with the Palestine war situation...I don't take any pharmaceutical medication, I don't have any systemic disease. But I do supplement with other things for about a year. (like L-glutamine [also recently], boswellia, collagen, multivitamins, bit D3K2) My weight is 53kg and I've been taking Rhodiola in 400mg every morning for 2 weeks.. I can tell my anxiety levels have reduced in a perceptible way. I'll update in a month or two. ✌️

Everbody is talking about high cortisol, even though low cortisol is the bigger problem. Chronic fatigue due to stress is associated with low cortisol rather than high cortisol. Feelings of being stressed out and anxious actually come from adrenaline. Will rhodiola elevate cortisol and lower adrenaline in that case?

It helping to cut back on tramadol that I take for pain but I don't like it because it's addicting since I have been taking it I cut back halfway on tramadol and I don't feel as depressed anymore. I am really liking it so far.

I am taking a standardized extract of rhodiola rosea with 3% rosavins and 1% salidorsides and what I noticed was a feeling of calmness but not so much energy. I am a little more anxious and I noticed a feeling of calm. Could these be the effects of the extract itself?

Luckily I try small doses. One teaspoon makes me angry. Combined with Ashwagandha gives me headache

Thanks for pointing out a supplement that is good for everything. Probably I can stop some of my other stuff. If it is good for sleeping it may make me a bit lethargic during the day, I reckon. That is what ashwagandha did for me.
