At the end of this month Crimea is gonna hold a referendum about their future. The population right now are split, but if they do decide staying with Russia in the long run this will be one less problem for Ukraine. We all know the enormous problem that it is dealing with rebel regions. And Crimea then would become Russia's problem. What I'm worried is if, whatever the result of the referendum is, it is met with violence, which I'm guessing chances are very high.
