If you are looking to become a normal insurance adjuster, there are a lot of insurance companies out there that will knowingly hire you with less experience or even without experience at all. But, finding work as an Independent Adjuster is different from how you would find work if you were looking just to be an employee for an Insurance Company.

So if you decide to be Independent, you have to think like a business owner because you are a business. So how would you do that?

Watching this video helped realize that I have an employee mindset. I'm just starting my journey as an IA, and since late November I have gotten licenses in FL, TX, NY, and 15 other states. I'm now starting the process of getting on rosters and finding work, but my approach will be different now. I will look at this as marketing for potential clients rather than applying for jobs. Thank you so much!

Is an auto appraiser legal required to physically go out and view the vehicle before they total a car out or can they do it based off photos from an online Auction house " staging area"?
