In an exclusive interview with "CBS This Morning," Attorney General William Barr says special counsel Robert Mueller could have said whether he believes President Trump committed a crime. CBS News chief legal correspondent Jan Crawford traveled with Barr to Alaska, where he is listening to the unique concerns of native Alaskans. She pressed the attorney general on issues ranging from obstruction of the Russia investigation, to his review of how that probe began in 2016.

Each weekday morning, "CBS This Morning" co-hosts Gayle King, Anthony Mason and Tony Dokoupil deliver two hours of original reporting, breaking news and top-level newsmaker interviews in an engaging and informative format that challenges the norm in network morning news programs. The broadcast has earned a prestigious Peabody Award, a Polk Award, four News & Documentary Emmys, three Daytime Emmys and the 2017 Edward R. Murrow Award for Best Newscast. The broadcast was also honored with an Alfred I. duPont-Columbia Award as part of CBS News division-wide coverage of the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut. Would've been nice to hear the whole interview, not CBS's spin on it.

Former AG Mukasey said it best: "Barr is not a man easily deterred."

Heard the whole interview earlier ... CBS sliced and diced all the good parts out. SMH

CBS, sounds like a reasonable interview with Barr. That's something I'd like to see more of. No vitriol, drama, extreme partisanship. Actual real questions and answers, without rude interruptions. Interesting development. Not perfect but better than what we usually get from liberal media.

AG William Barr is an excellent Attorney General and after watching this I'm convinced he did the right thing.

Thank God we have a real AG with a backbone unlike Sen. Sessions who I like but he wasn't the right person for AG. At all .

Gee Jeff Sessions, this is how you run the Justice Department! You don't let it run you!

Barr has the backbone rarely found in DC.

You edited the video to cut him off midsentence after the word “jiving”.

That makes this a DISTORTED VIDEO.

I’m sure Nancy Pelosi will be calling for its take down.

'A particular lawyer or lawyers' - He is referring to Weissmann. That is clear from from he said.

Barr needs to do a big housecleaning in all of Justice... there must be some good people left there????

Apparently Barr's interview didn't go exactly the way CBS management thought that it would, so now they aren't giving us the complete interview, and are only giving out broken up segments interspersed with commentary from CBS staff.

Straightforward answers. No Bulls. I wouldn't want this guy on my case. Good luck.
