“i won’t make choices that’ll hurt me again” i always tell that to myself especially when my heart is broken, but i just end up making choices that’ll hurt me again. 6 months ago, i got excited meeting someone new to the point i told myself “idc if i get hurt, i got used to it so nothing’s new if he’ll hurt me.” and it didn’t work out as i expected and cried over a man who doesn’t give a fuck about me. and that’s probably why i’m scared to meet someone new, scared i’ll get carried away by the joyful emotions that i’ll feel about the person and not think about the damage they could give me.

sorry this turned out as a rant, i think it’s better to tell this to a person i don’t know and to person who doesn’t know me as well 😬
