How to Get I-94 Form | I-94 Form Filling Instructions | J1 VISA

The I-94 Form is the Arrival and Departure Record that is issued by the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer to foreign visitors entering the U.S.

🔹 To retrieve your I-94 form, please follow these steps:
1. Wait 24 hours from your arrival in the U.S. before attempting to retrieve an I-94 number.
and make sure that the computer you are using is connected to a printer.
3. Enter required information in all CAPITAL letters. Please make sure you enter your name exactly as it appears in your passport.
4. Click Submit

1. Locate the nearest Deferred Inspection site to you:
2. Call the nearest Deferred Inspection site during their office hours.
3. Please make sure to have the following documents on you when placing the call:
- Passport
- DS-2019
- Boarding Pass
Inform the CBP officer of the issues you are experiencing retrieving your I-94 record and ask if they can assist you over the phone. The CBP officer might inform you that you need to appear in person.

I found the information from American Airlines "Foreign visitors to the U.S. no longer need to complete paper Customs and Border Protection form for arrival and departure or non-immigrant visa waiver record. CBP now gathers this information automatically from travelers' electronic travel records. Learn more about I-94 requirements." Is that a new regulation?

I am CONfused. The back of a Soc Sec card plainly says thst it does not belong to you it belongs to the Soc Sec Administration and even says the address to return it to. Can you please explain that? Thanks UCC1-308

I don’t understand, my ds2019 says program date till 20dec23, and i94 says d/s, then for how long i can stay in the us? Until 20jan24 (till grace period)? Or tile 20dec23 (as per ds2019)?

As ds2019 says program dates from 19sep23 to 20dec23, visa exp date printed as 20dec23.
