To be fair to everyone, XLR isn’t as necessary over short runs, if your processor is very close to your amplifiers, odds are you won’t be able to tell any difference at all between RCA and XLR

KSpace! I went to my dealer after reading up on the Anthem-AVM-90. As soon as I heard it, I have to have it! My dealer came to my house and set up the unit from A to Z! I had a Marantz-8801 pre-pro with the rear right channel kept giving me problems. So, to not to keep $$$ into bad, I went with the AVM-90! I’m glad I did! It is wonderful with my Parasound JC-1 mono blocks that are pumping out over 800 pure, clean, power! I am very happy with my rig! I want to get the Big Parasound 5-channel amp and move my smaller Parasound to my bedroom with my Klipsch 7.2 system! 1:30

Hello. I have an AVM 90 and the shortcomings it has, as compared to a Marantz AV 10 are the lack of Auro 3D (for upmixing) and DTS-X pro.

Hello Kpaceguy. Did you ever get a chance to listen to the AVM-90? I have a dedicated headphone system in my computer room for my music. The Anthem would be exclusively hometheater so the extra money toward the upgraded DAC's on the AVM90 wouldn't be used much in my case, but how much would I be loosing in Hometheater performance going with the 70 instead of the 90?

I would wait on the Emotiva G4 processors or a Anthem AVM90 (on sale @ Audio Advice) or a Marantz AV10.
