For anyone wondering why the name of the song is and its themes, I have a theory. It starts off harsh, domineering, and intimidating, much like the owner of said song, but after a moment and getting into it, it shifts into a more gentle inviting tone much like it's owner as well. My guess is to why it is called Layer Cake is because it is a showcase of people having multiple layers beyond just what you can see at face value.

Edit: At this point, I have been told many times that Layer Cake is a movie, and I'm more then man enough to admit that I'm wrong :D

This is my favorite track of all time and I mean that with absolute seriousness. The eery intro gives off the impression that you just entered a place you shouldn't have, only to realize you're exactly where you should be once the beat drops and the bassline begins. Holy fucking shit this beat is so chill and groovy. The guitar licks remind me a lot of Iwai's unique sense of fatherly love and justice, culminating in the climax of the song to reveal how truly useful and meaningful he becomes to the protagonist, as the bass and guitar begin to crosspitch in that oh-so-satisfying way. I listen to this track every single day and I never get tired of it. I absolutely think this is the greatest piece of music ever created. Shoji Meguro is a legend.

I like listening to the Persona 5 OST whenever I am doing... Anything, really. But mostly when I am doing chores, and I enjoy putting it on the big stereo we have in the living room. My mom was around there and she was dancing to the music and told me that this music was brutally good. I told her it was a video game's OST, and she simply said that it was absolutely incredible.
