Disney plus is expanding its horizons yet again, with another mcu original, WHAT IF, based of course off of the comic book run, now were of course going to see fun alternate versions of mcu movies, its only fair to look back at some of the WHAT IF comics, with sad endings. THE KORVAC STORY WAS MY SADDEST STORY. ANY ONE WHERE ALL OF THE UNIVERSE GETS DESTROYED IS SO SAD.

The one that got me as a kid was one from the 90's. What If Magneto's eldest daughter, Anya, had survived the fire, and he and Magda stayed together to raise the twins. Anya grew up to resent being his only human child, the less favored one compared to Pietro and Wanda, and orchestrates the murders of her entire family.

I know they are probably going to do this one, but what if Peter Parker did the snap at the final battle of Avengers: Endgame? This is a really well known one, but it still sticks out. The reaction from Tony Stark alone would be one of the biggest "feel" inducing situations in the MCU!
