How to Export a Single Video Frame to JPG PNG Image in DaVinci Resolve 17.1

Here's a good way to get a freeze frame jpg / png / tiff / bmp of your video exported so you can use it in a thumbnail or for any other reason. Only takes a moment to do in DaVinci Resolve 17.1.

Gotta say, as much as I love most things about Davinci Resolve more than Premiere Pro, this is one thing That's just infinitely more simple on Premiere. Wish Davinci would just do what they do.

I tried exporting several at once and it worked. If you change "untitled" to something else it will use that preface on all of them followed by 1.1.1 then 1.1.2 etc.

To make higher resolution you can right click on the screen showing your edit in fusion and choose save image.

Oh - do you use OBS / Streamlabs to capture your screen and camera/greenscreen? I've been kicking around doing tutorials but haven't the budget for Camtasia or similar software...

Hi Chris! Thanks for your tutorials! Helped me alot when i now transition from Premiere. Regarding freeze frame export, is there a way to export 4k images from the timeline? I made a Ultra HD timeline but the export is only HD on the still pictures, is HD the limit do you think?
In premiere Stills are sam resolution as the timeline.
