I ordered the Atomos Ninja Flame.  The reason why I went with Atomos was because the person who sold it to me said that you can not get 10 bit on an SD card - you need an SSD.   But, I see that you are getting 10 bit with the Blackmagic.

Why did you buy the 4K recorder if you are only doing 1080p? You know they sell a cheaper recorder for 1080p only, right?

It seems to be a great recorder (mini xlr), but the one thing missing for me, is a h264 ou h265 recording codec, with various bitrate. The DNxHD made files toooo big.

Have you tried to trigger the recorder by hitting the record button of the gh 4?
This is a Feature blackmagic was saying will work, but doesnt with my gh4. Another very anoying thing is the heavy delay of the video assist when i put it into 25p. At 50p everything is fine, but it looks like this problem is caused by the gh4 itself, since i noticed it also when connecting it to my tv. (Both firmwares updated)
