Step 1 : He says to make some lines in the Paint Tool in AE
Step 2 : Used the Lines with Shape Layers
Step 3 : (Optional but he recommends) Remove the lines; hide them if you want.
Step 4 : He wants you to make the layer 3D + Add lighting so it will function as if it was 3D...

So... reallly... he's telling us...

Just look at the thing you want to Rotoscope... trace whatever...

Cool video Pearce. I'm trying to do something similar and I'm running into a problem. I'm tracing over a video of someone running, but I can't figure out how I can just show the part I'm painting, without the video that I'm 'tracing' from. In other words, I just want to see the drawing and have the source video be transparent. Do you know how to do that? Thanks.
