Essentially that goofball in the marlins Jersey missed the initial opportunity to grab the ball, and since his phone was in his right hand and the ball took a weird bounced he missed it. After the bounce you see Chris jump onto the ball and luckily there is an angle that shows Chris on the ball while matus’ left hand in on the corner of the table while his right hand (still holding his phone) never took possession. I mean props to the kid for trying to get that bag but he never had a chance, to be fair anybody else would try to do the same for a ball that’s starting at 500k with the potential to go for millies

Maybe I should join the lawsuit. I had as much possession of that ball that the red shirt kid did, and I’m in Utah. Next time he should actually record with the phone that he couldn’t put away to grab the ball with two hands, then maybe we’d have a better angle for more proof.

I had a similar situation like this. I was at the home run derby this year in Texas, when the champion Teoscar Hernandez hit a foul ball down the third base line. I caught the ball but just when I was about to celebrate, this short fat man shoved me to the ground and stripped the ball from me. When he got the ball it was too late to confront him cause he ran away never to be found. It’s was very painful.
