The Sony Camera focus needs the object a bit far from the camera, when object move closer to the camera the focus is lost and the object going blurer.

If you have a ZV1 or even a A6400 that would be the biggest difference

The Sony gave a wider field of view which looks good. Not as blurry but they have options to help that you can mess with if you just left it stock. Both cameras look awesome tho!

What’s your audio setup? What tripod or stand are you using and at what angle do you have the camera set for the videos you’re making?

If you want blury background on a 1" sensor get the Sony ZV-1 24mm f1.8. Yeah you have to sacrifice the 20mm wide angle though.

well yes, sensor size is 1 of 4 things that affect the dof. not including shift-tilt.

the only product other than the playstation that sony does right. the noise canceling 🎧 don’t work. i noticed no differences between the headphone’s microphone’s audio cancellation and my spanish class without them, and they are really loud and hell-raising.

Are there any firmware updates for the Sony? I would expect it to be better than the cannon, but in this example it's not.

blur does not equal quality. background blur is only really good when you’re recording in public. it’s like trying to read the text in guitar hero for ps2, which doesn’t have the graphical capabilities to show text that small.

it seems to me that the zv1f looks softer, a lil bit more "cinematic" although that's just a subjective opinion

i think the zv-1f is more "aesthetic" and the canon is more techy. the zv-1f is technically "worse" but its more homey and cute. I think it would be good for beginners for sure, which is why im considering it lol
