Access to education should not be determined by a person's gender, yet the reality is that around 132 million girls around the world are out of school as they are faced with numerous barriers to their education on the daily (UNESCO).
As we commemorated the International Day of the Girl Child on October 11, Chairperson of #RYTHMFoundation, Datin Sri Umayal Eswaran highlighted our belief in the need to level the playing field because empowered girls become empowered women who contribute to uplifting their communities and building prosperity for entire nations.
