LEGO Star Wars 501st Battle Pack speed review

The new 501st Clone Troopers Battle Pack signals a change in direction for the LEGO Star Wars design team – with mixed results.
The big draw for battle packs is the minifigures. On the one hand, we’ve got unique printing on each of these Phase Two clone troopers, and a brand new macrobinocular element, which is neat.
On the other hand, all other accessories – the Mandalorian ‘kama’ and the shoulder pauldron worn by these minifigures’ source material – are all achieved through simple printing. It’s a bit disappointing given that we’ve definitely seen better-equipped clones in the past.

Picked this up and I think it’s pretty good for 20 at the current state of Lego

I actually don’t mind the pauldrons they have being printed (tho for others it’s best to especially have it cloth for commanders like Rex, Bly, etc.), tho kamas for the legs would be nice.

At least I have custom molds for the Pauldrons instead of the dumb printing on the minifig whenever I get my hands on the set

What better equipped clones? The bandoliers were always printed, only thing not right is the printed kama on the officer

I'm not a big lego statears fan but I'm thinking of picking this up for the figs

They look cool both as clones n as generic scifi ppl

And when I was little I had another clone trooper set with a turret like that

Another negative thing is putting the damn attachment hole above where it should actually be. Even on the box art it's placed properly. But on the figures it's above where it's molded on the helmets.

The actual, in game troopers don’t have the big, commander Pauldrons. They’ve been printing the straps on the heavy troopers like that since at least 2013. I love your content but this is a pretty big miss imo.

Blue pattern on the torso looks terrible thanks to the 2020 style armor, and lego forgot to print blue on the upper backs on the clones, except for the officer 👎👎

No shot son way too light on the blue. Looks like you’d have to paint them like crazy or re decal them to be happy.
