LEGO Harry Potter 2018 Hogwarts Great Hall 75954 Review!

Join me for a review of LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Great Hall 75954, a 2018 LEGO Harry Potter featuring the Great Hall from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. LEGO 75954 is an 878 piece set featuring Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Draco Malfoy, Susan Bones, Professor McGonagall, Professor Quirrell with Lord Voldemort face, Hagrid, Albus Dumbledore and Nearly Headless Nick minifigures. Join me as I unbox, speed build and review an awesome Harry Potter LEGO set!

As well as ten brand new minifigures 75954 Hogwarts Great Hall features a mid-scale build of the iconic LEGO Hogwarts Great Hall which stands an inpressive 14 inches high and combines with Hogwarts Whomping Willow 75953 to make an even bigger LEGO Hogwarts set.

LEGO Hogwarts Great Hall features the Great Hall complete with Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuss and Ravenclaw house banners and house four benches plus a small range of food elements for a Hogwarts feast. The ceiling features floating candles and at the end of the hall we have three seats at the top table for the LEGO Albus Dumbledore, Minerva McGonagall and Professor Quirinus Quirrell minigifures.

The Great Hall also features a fireplace and a lot of windows, plus many new LEGO elements including finials in an exclusive color and double-sided inverted slopes to support the roofline of the 75954 Great Hall. Outside the large doors to the Hogwarts Great Hall is a boat jetty and we get a LEGO boat to ferry first year Hogwarts students across the great lake to The Great Hall.

We have a 4-level tower attached to Hogwarts Great Hall which includes an attic space with space for Fawkes the Phoenix to roost and Mirror of Erised with four interchangable magical mirror panels showing Harry, Ron, Dumbledore and Quirrel gazing into The Mirror of Erised and revealing their hearts' true desires. The LEGO Quirrell minfigure can be transformed into Lord Voldemort by removing his turban and rotating his head to reveal a very freaky expression on the back.

Also in the Hogwarts tower we have a potions laboratory where Hermione and Susan can cook up a batch of polyjuice potion, storage space with a chest of gems and a fantastic molded LEGO Sorting Hat plus spider and a magical spiral staircase in the basement. This is a great set and comes recommended.

Included in this video, I also preview the new LEGO Hogwarts Castle 71043 set which will become the second biggest LEGO set ever made when released to LEGO VIP members on August 15th 2018.

Got this yesterday, my first set!!, Something tells me it's a long slippery slope from here lol. I've not even opened the first bag yet and I think I'm hooked already. I was going to get something smaller and cheaper for my first set, like Privet Drive, but heard this set is retiring soon so thought I'd better get it,

The yellow frog is a reference to Philosopher Stone, when on the train Ron tries to turn either Neville's frog or the chocolate frog.

Just finished building this set now. I havent built anything since i sold my star wars collection in 2012. I like the harry potter sets better, as I love castles and old buildings. It went pretty OK building it, the only sticky part was the... eh stickers. My big clumsy man hands could not line them up 100%, but it was pretty close, so im good.

Hi. Love your informative reviews! Now that I’m finally getting round to building this recent 3 year wave of HP sets, I watched this one because I have one question: WHY IS THERE A YELLOW FROG? 🤣 love Lego humour & I laughed stupidly in your shrieking shack review. I’ve had that terrific set dustily displayed since 2004. Yep Have been collecting since 2001! So disappointed in my only castle though: the Phoenix one. Apart from the delightful Umbridge office is weirdly flat. This Great Hall & newer towers are a great upgrade. Cheers
