Now 71 I remember playin and dancing to this song at 15 yrs old with a girl that asked me to play it every time she Came to my aunt’s store, which had a juke box in the back of the store, 5 cents a song, where we would sit and play bid-wits, and fry cold cuts on top of a wooden stove, in a Brown paper bag, wonderful memories, no fighting!!!

I used to hear this on WLAC-AM out of Gallatin, Tenn. back in the 1960s. I was too young to understand just what was going on in the song, but I know I loved hearing it.

My dads favorite. I lost my dad in 1970 at the young age of 51. I was only 7. I remember him playing this.

I had to be around 3 or 4 when I 1st heard this song. I remember it so well because my mom was sitting in the dark listening to it and crying. That was over or 46 yrs ago. Don't know what she was crying about, but I'm sure it had to do something with my pops. The shit she went through with that man. She's gone, but he's still here. Life sometimes have no Rhyme or Reason. In other words, it's just not fair.
