This is a song by Ioannis Dragatsis, aka Ogdontakis. He was a talented violinist and composer and came from a family of musicians who also bore the same nickname. Along with Dimitris Semsis, they were considered the best violinists of their time. Ogdonda = Eighty: was given to the Dragatsis family, because they had a deep understanding of the eighty makam of eastern music.

This song , "Methysmenos = drunk" was sung by Kostas Roukounas and Marika Frantzeskopoulou (Marika Politissa). Marika was believed to have been Dragatsis's girlfriend, while he composed various songs with her as a singer. This song talks about the hardships of love, the feeling of rejection and the addiction to alcohol as a means of overcoming the pain that this love has brought upon the protagonist of this story.
