Tensions between Pyongyang and Seoul have escalated for the past few days. The government of Pyongyang has blown up the liaison office and started army exercises. Further, North Korea has threatened to vitiate the 2018 border agreement and redeploy their army in the demilitarized border zone. This 2018 border agreement was an actual reconciliation pact to build a conducive environment for bringing peace between the hostile neighbors by demilitarizing the border with the no-flying zone. This whole tension is due to the anti-government leaflets campaign near the restricted border zone.
