I found a 1945 penny, like the one you showed. I contacted Heritage Auctions and they told me it is only worth 5 cents. They told me to look for the 1909 S and P minted pennies.

Small question, I found a 1983 penny, the mint mark is gone there's a hole down to the zinc, it looks like maybe rpmm and it fell off. Any input would be appreciated, thanks
