Greek Revolutionary Song - South at Valtos' villages [English subs] Κάτω στου Βάλτου τα χωριά

A famous pre-revolutionary Greek song that was being sang even during the Greek revolution of 1821 and it is known until today.
The klephts(meaning thieves in English) being mentioned in the video were anti-Ottoman insurgents that were living in the mountainous Ottoman areas.
A kadi was an official in the Ottoman Empire. They were judges who presided over matters in accordance with Islamic law.
Koboti is a city near Arta.
Armatoliki was an administrative district the Ottomans commissioned to some klephts so as to enforce the Sultan's authority. These klephts were named armatoli.
The klephts and the armatoli were the ones who started the Greek revolution and later on became the Greek army.
