My guess is godzilla arrived on the island with the sole purpose of taking out Ghidorah... one of the kongs tried intervening thinking Godzilla was another threat... Godzilla simply pushed him aside

If you're wondering about the island Kong landed on, it's a real place called Marshall Island, it was a testing site for nuclear weapons. After the testing, a dome was built around the blast area in order to trap the radioactivity.

Well now that Kong is presumably growing, I’m satisfied. As long as we see him hold his ground for a few seconds.

Yeah, I’m finally gonna put my thoughts here.
I like how Kong’s hatred of Godzilla is explained, and why he’d follow Godzilla and attack him for seemingly no reason in part 1.
The Skullcrawlers are finally seen, and Ghidorah is probably somewhere around the corner.
I’m ready for Part 6! Probably ending with Ghidorah’s return, and Godzilla and Kong teaming up.
