He literally takes the life vest and instead of protecting himself and Hailey, he only puts it on her, also protecting her with his own body, when he hugs her. That small detail makes this scene the sweetest thing ever and you can see how much Jay cares about Hailey🥺 and...and... and I’m over here crying😭❤️

I'm rewatching that Chicago PD episode now & I just saw the full clip of it & noticed this part. THE WAY HE YELLED "HAILEY GET DOWN" & GRABBED HER THEN JUMPED DOWN ON THE VAN FLOOR WITH HER & HELD HER DOWN WITH HIM TIGHTLY! I LOVE HOW THE ENTIRE TIME THE GUY WAS SHOOTING AT THEM HAILEY WAS JUST HOLDING HER GUN & TRYING TO FIND THE RIGHT MOMENT TO SHOOT HER GUN BACK AT THE GUY! THE WAY HE JUST GRABBED HER & DRAGGED HER ASS DOWN WITH HIM THO FR! I LOVE THOSE 2! BEST DUO EVER! 😂🤣💀☠️
