Jurassic Park (Data East 1993) - VPW - VPX / Visual Pinball X - Jackpot and System Breakdown!

Jurassic Park is another Data East gem and VPW did it justice! I'm a fan of their approach, also seen in tables like The Who - Pinball Wizard and Tales from the Crypt, where you need to put in some effort to start modes, but don't have to finish them, and can stack most modes. The wizard mode is always within reach, making it a steady goal to work towards. During multiballs - tri-ball in this case - you can score big, but it's no easy feat. This time around, I focused on reaching the wizard mode, System Failure, so I didn't stress too much about scoring points during modes. I came close to an epic tri-ball, but just missed spelling CHAOS - that scoop shot for the S is tough! Luckily, for starting modes, I can usually rely on the mission hole being active for a brief time after the ball passes through the in-lanes, making it slightly more manageable. Without that, this table would be a whole lot tougher!

My basic aim with any tips and strategy gameplay video I post is to help the viewer improve his skill in the game and on the specific table. I do this by identifying the safest and most efficient strategy to follow to play through the modes and to reach and beat the wizard mode. This is admittedly not always the most efficient way to achieve a high score, but once you understand the table, including which shots and modes are worth it or not, it puts you in the position where you can concentrate on what you have identified as the best approach to reaching a high score.
