49-56-7210, Milwaukee's had this around for a long time. I finally got one and it is truly an amazing quick release hole saw Arbor. Much better than any other one. I've seen so far. Really sturdy rigid and super easy to use

Totally, totally get that.
Finally an answer something that has bugged me for thirty years.
It's not just the removable to change size or to pack away, it is the removal to clear the cutter of wood.
Brilliant, thanks for sharing.

Honestly, I thought “Naw that can’t be that easy.” I used my impact driver and Woohoo! It worked! After an arbor had been stuck for years, it was finally off the hole saw. Thank you, thank you!

Ive used the Quick Change Milwaukee professionally for over 25 years and never had any issues with it other than needing new Pilot bits which is just maintenance IMO i mainly used it with Corded drills and on some occasions A adapted SDS hammer drill for Countertop Grommets The hammer operation just helped with Speed and i used a SDS Jacobs Chuck to hold the hole saw Arbor

The Bosch unit is the same as a Diablo kit I have with all the arbors attached to the hole saws already!

Old timers just use a piece of solder as a washer . Especially when core drilling makes disassembly easy.

2:52 I think that's a 1/2"-20 to 5/8"-18 thread adapter, not a 3/8"-24 to 1/2"-20. 🤔

For the Milwaukee twist release arbor, the hex shank is 3/8" and the thread collar is 1/2"-20 (afaik).

Milwaukee Electric is owned by Techtronic Industries based out of Hong Kong. Only some of Milwaukee's products are made in the USA.
According to their website, they also have manufacturing facilities in China and Europe

Other than the DeWalt, is there any alternatives to this now that it is discontinued it's really hard to find and near impossible in Australia. I've looked at other quick change systems and they're all a bit rubbish compared to this with wobble problems and and working with larger sizes having pins, I can't find anything else like this. Has anyone seen a similar product?

The pin drive, how does the collar stay in place? I have tightened the set screw all the way and it still just slides back off the saw.

You guys have to change over to metric, I know it's a pain but if us brits can do it, you can too. So much easier long term.
