Hi Everyone! I accidentally said "single crochet" at the beginning of Row 2, I meant DOUBLE CROCHET! Sorry for any confusion!! :)

I’ve watched several other tutorials on this stitch/patten, but you’re the first to make it understandable for me. Thanks!

I have never done a chevron before. This is my first attempt. I watched SEVERAL tutorials and was so confused, then I found YOU Jayda! This is so easy and fun with the way you do it. Your upbeat personality is amazing and I really love that you go over the stitches several time and show the turn around. I'm sure I will learn so much more from watching your videos. Thank you!!

They were a hit. Brought tears to my hostesses eyes. She said she had not bad a homemade blanket since her mom made her a last one before she passed. Amazing to let my hands make happiness. Thank you again.

Thank you for this tutorial! My mom tried to teach me to crochet when I was young. So I had the very basic knowledge. When she passed away 7 years ago, I was the only one who had learned to crochet. When my miracle of a son was born 3 years ago, I realized he would be the only child born without a blanket made by my mom. This spring I saw a chevron crochet afgan at the local thrift store and it inspired me to attempt to make one for myself. I have never crocheted anything bigger than a scarf and they weren't very good. I crocheted for about 5 weeks and hung up my needle because it got too hot to have a heavy blanket on my lap. I picked it back up 3 days ago and finished my king sized chevron quilt. I love it so much! It was fun and easy thanks to you. Now my little sister is pregnant with her first child and this baby too will not have a quilt made by my mom, but they will have a quilt! Just made by me instead. Thank you so much for helpinge pass ony moms tradition!

I really appreciate how thorough you are and don’t presume we know what you’re talking about 💜 You also explain why you’re doing what you’re doing.
