Swimming with SHARKS in HAWAII (No Cage) - Was it worth It?

We chose to swim with sharks without a cage to observe the sharks in their natural habitat without disturbing their environment. We did NOT bait or attract the sharks in any way. We went to a sandbar a few miles off of the North Shore of Oahu, where Galapagos and Sand Sharks commonly hangout. If you decide to go shark diving, I would encourage you to do your own research in advance to make sure you are observing Sharks in a safe way that will not harm you or the Sharks.

After diving with Sharks, we strolled around Haleiwa, which is a quaint surf town on the North Shore of Oahu. We treated ourselves to some Acai bowls at Banzai Bowls before heading to Giovanni’s Shrimp Truck for their famous Garlic Shrimp.

After lunch, we drove to Leftovers Beach on the North Shore to relax and watch a beautiful sunset.
