Ethics Committee Boss: Because you have your own version of ethics, voice it, are just one voice on it, and can spot the unethical in a heartbeat... spot evil.
Me: I just happen to know evil and am doing my best to be good. I wouldn't consider myself a good person, more pragmatic with a thick skin... with a mean streak more often than I want. I don't want this. I don't see myself here as a good thing.
Ethics Committee Boss: We know all that, you have no choice, and your point of view is what we need here. Did you miss the point of the orientation?
Me: I don't think I'll get along with anyone on the team.
Ethics Committee Boss: Actually, you'd fit right in. Well, none of you will be in total harmony but that's the purpose of such a committee.
Me: So... no more fieldwork?
Ethics Committee Boss: I never said that. Mostly no but we will be discussing everything every day.
Me: So, how fat will I get?
Ethics Committee Boss: I suggest a standing desk if you don't exercise and learn to read a lot faster.

I like how the video is interactive even though the film is being run from the spool of an old style projector. That probably really ups the intimidation factor for the guy watching it. They must use precogs to make the videos or something for each person they show the video to.

So the ethics committee is exactly what it sounds like. They are not playing meek and ineffectual very well if people start to freak during a meeting with them. Especially if people know it could end with termination. Or worse, a pay cut.

The ethics committee is one of the safest jobs in the scp foundation but they are hated by the rest of the foundation workers they fill like there there to make life harder for them...lol
