Just beginning my WH40K hobby life and was searching for all kinds of tutorials of modelling for personalizing my tactical squad of Salamanders.
What a great job here. Congratulations.

Hugo...please...the hood!
For the love of god...a tutorial on that hood!
It's the best looking hood I've seen so far!
I have got to know how its done!

This is just magic. Awesome. And I found it incredibly kind that you mentioned taking care with the sculpting knife. Awesome guy.

I have watched this video several times now- asking myself if I could realistically do the same as your doing here- I think with a bit of practice I could- I hope so anyway as I have just ordered some Magic Sculpt and tools! I shall follow your guide to the letter and hope my figures come out half as good as yours - I'd be happy with that. Inspirational mate- thanks for that! :)

This is a handy video, going to try and make my own cloaks and robes for my models. It would be cheaper than having to fork out an extra $40 just to give my Captain or special character more character.

I've always liked gamesworkshop, I would love to combine Lord Of The Rings models with a 40k setting, and this is the channel to help me do that!

Yet again fantastic work Dennis, if It is not to bold I would like to suggest a video on armatures. I know that is the part I struggle with the most with sculpting

Loving this. It's my first time seeing any of Dennis's work as well and I'm impressed with that. Still wearing my Ichiban shirt with pride!

Fantastic tutorial! I'm a newbie to sculpting and this really made me see where I was going wrong. Thanks for posting!

Very informative video. Masterful and inspiring. I'm assuming you can't get the same results with green stuff? I read through all the replies and couldn't find a follow up video for the hood... is there another video showing how to do the hood?

Excellent video! This is exactly what I wanted to learn in order to make my own Cadre Fireblade! Thanks Dennis!

Would love to hear more about your non-standard sculpting tools (the ones that aren't the basic few you see in the GW or PP sculpting set). Are they your own modified or self-made tools? If you explain it during the video, I'll go back and watch it all when I get time. I was skipping around and looking at parts of it tonight. Great stuff!

Great video! As others have mentioned, I would love to see how you sculpted the hood -- which just suddenly appears in this video.

This has become second nature to you. Could you do a bigginers tutorial with basic tool and shapenmaking know how?
