Показать описание
This video demonstrates the purpose and usage of child flows and its use in authoring a reusable flow within Microsoft Power Automate ecosystem.
⭐ Child flows can be used to structure the flow for easy navigation and maintenance
⭐ Child Flows are mainly used for Tasks / Action reusability
⭐ You can have multiple child flows inside a parent flow
⭐ To simulate you need:
- Parent Flow
- Child Flow
⭐ Parent Flows
✔️Parent flow can have any type of trigger
✔️Parent flow waits for the child flows to complete for the lifetime of the flows
- 1 year (flows using built in connections and Dataverse)
- 30 days (for all other flows)
✔️ You cannot pass connections from parent flow to child flow
⭐Child Flows
✔️ Child flows need to run under specific connections (not Run only users)
✔️ Child flows only support embedded connections
✔️ Export – Import process of flow containing solution will link parent and child flow automatically
Girish Uppal explains the concept of child flows and techniques to use while authoring a child flows.
